Counter Sales Representative - Bilingual

Job Summary

Our client is searching for their next Bilingual Counter Sales Representative to join their ever-growing team in Moncton, NB! The successful candidate would be responsible for providing excellent customer service in selling a diversified line of safety products via phone, fax, email and over-the-counter. You are the face of the company and will have the most face-to-face interactions with their customer base.

Perks and Salary

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
• $20 - $21/hr
• Weekly pay, every Friday!

Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet all customers (in person or over the phone) with a positive, engaging, and welcoming attitude
• Sell and support a diversified line of safety products via phone, fax, email and over-the-counter
• Delivering a high level of customer service and support upselling opportunities
• Handle all customer transactions in a timely manner
• Operate the store point of sale system to search for products and customer accounts
• Assist with merchandising activities, maintaining standards of appearance, overall product presentation, inventory management, signage, etc.
• Follow all policies and standard operating procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
• Adhere to inventory control programs, in-stock standards, and all operating procedures
• Other store support related duties including but not limited to supporting the warehouse functions and delivery/pickup of product as required
  
  

Requirements And Skills

• Bilingualism in French and English is required
• A clean criminal record is required
• Experience in the safety industry also an asset but not mandatory
• Customer service skills
• Comfortable with computers
• Team player who works well with others
• Detail-oriented
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a continual basis
• Reliable and dependable, able to show up to work every day and on time!
