Salary Range: $43,596 - $54,493 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Director of IT Services, the Communications Officer is responsible for helping plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate ITS operational and project communications.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of ITS project communications.
- Gather, determine, and create plans on how to deliver information best.
- Determine how to monitor and evaluate communications plans. Collect and report on decided measurements.
- Engage with audiences. Write and share content, create short videos, collaborate on design layouts and image development, work on printed content and develop surveys.
- Deliver communication plans that meet delivery schedules.
- Keep up-to-date with communication channels, methods UNB communities can be reached, and changes to communication standards.
- Monitor standard ITS communications through footprints tickets and outage postings.
- Plan service and emergency communications.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or another related field.
- 2 - 5 years experience in communications and marketing.
Additional Strengths
- Bachelor's degree would be considered a strong asset.
- Experience in technology communications and marketing would be an asset.
- Skilled in the use of social media platforms.
- Familiar with content management systems would be an asset.
- Excellent writing, editing and communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, assessment, and time management skills.
