About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Health Information Services the General Office Clerk is responsible for the communication system and the reception/registration duties within the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Grade 12 or equivalent, plus completion of a recognized office procedure/secretarial program, or 1-year previous clerical/administration experience is required
Graduate of an approved Medical Terminology Program is required
Demonstrated skills and experience with Windows and Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and Edge, as well as Meditech computer training and experience is required
Related hospital exposure in an applicable setting preferred
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; must be an effective team player
Ability to work rotational shifts required
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

Casual relief positions
Hours of work will include days, evenings, holidays and weekends. There will be no travel required.

Compensation and Incentives

$20.09 - $21.90 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
