What will your typical day look like?
Position based in Quebec due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position - Quebec Based Only.
This Business Support Manager role, will be part of the Central Business Services team and will work across the 19 teams in CBS to assist in delivering firm wide projects, be responsible for project management when required and delivery activities related to the planning and execution of the strategic initiatives across our varying CBS teams. The Business Support Manager will leverage agile best practices and work alongside the Partner, Service Delivery and CBS Leaders to synthesize key deliverables into digestible content that can be used for broader socialization and will be accountable to monitor and analyze key performance metrics. This may include reviewing operational data, financial reports, or customer feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential bottlenecks. This role will also be accountable to work with the Partner, Service Delivery to ensure activities to support our talent value proposition are being rolled out as per plan to our 800 member team to create moments that matter.
In this role, you will be accountable to:
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio and create quarterly scorecards. These scorecards will be used to communicate progress, highlight achievements, and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with CBS leadership to translate workplans and initiatives into easily understandable content. This content will be shared with the team and entire organization to secure buy-in and maintain momentum towards achieving objectives
- Gathering valuable feedback and identifying any barriers that may hinder the successful completion of projects. You will represent the Partner, Service Delivery, in addressing these challenges and finding solutions
- Responsible for managing ad hoc project initiatives as required. This may involve coordinating key projects to ensure their successful completion
- In conjunction with Partner Service Deliver manage key talent processes across CBS (QBRs, Manager Alignment Sessions, TVP realization activities, etc)
In summary, as a Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of CBS and Service Delivery initiatives. Your ability to effectively communicate, analyze performance metrics, and manage projects will be essential in achieving organization objectives and maintaining forward momentum
About The Team
Central Business Services (CBS) is the “engine” that drives customer focused service delivery on behalf of the Firm, enabled by technology and a continuous improvement mindset. With our singular-focus on the support services our customer – our leaders, and people across the Firm need every day to serve our clients to win in the market.
The team at present is accountable for providing enabling area support in the following four areas. The first is financial support related to engagement financial, procure to pay, expenses and managing the integration of our financial systems, processes and functionality. The second is executive support services and workplace services support. The third is event planning, payroll and talent services support. The final area is around providing support to practitioners in obtaining the necessary level of security clearance to work on any provincial or federal government engagement, GIMS Audits, Conflict Checks, Background Checks and the completion of Anti-Corruption activities.

You are someone who has:
- Agile project management approaches, methods, & resourcing – adapted to various technical and non-technical project types and delivery models
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Ability to develop and present material using excellent written, verbal, and visual communication modalities, with the ability to express complex concepts effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to craft engaging power point presentation
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
- Promote collaboration and teamwork including working for consensus and contributing to achievement of team/group goals
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
