East Coast Credit Union is seeking a Supervisor, Business Services Specialists to join our team! Reporting to the Director, Business Services, the Supervisor, Business Services Specialists oversees an assigned team of Business Services Specialists. The incumbent will lead and support direct reports with improving the financial well-being of business members and providing optimal member experience through provision of advice and business solutions.
You would…
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of direct report(s) in the delivery of optimal internal and external member service. Responsibilities include participating in the development of a sales and service culture by providing regular coaching, mentoring, and supporting learning and development opportunities.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and monitor performance objectives through the year. Working with the Director, Business Services, address any performance issues as they arise and recommend various personnel actions including but not limited to, rewarding, promoting, reassigning to discipline, and discharge where appropriate.
- Proactively identify training needs for internal staff related to business services products and services. Develop and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide support to the Business Services Team in the sale and fulfillment of all cash management solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist team in conducting detailed analysis and evaluation and recommends cash management solutions and digital offerings to commercial members; prepare and deliver on-site and off-site presentations; provide virtual or in-person training and ongoing technical support regarding members’ cash management services.
- Support the custom package review process by researching and providing appropriate information to Account Managers, Business Services to make suitable pricing decisions.
- Manage and develop vendor relationships (such as merchant, payroll); completes Request for Proposals and Expressions of Interest and recommends third party partners and vendors to the Director, Business Services.
- Take a proactive approach to explore and identify new business opportunities, both with existing members and potential new members.
- Manage escalations from members to resolve issues or concerns using independent judgement.
- Proactively plan and prepare weekly contact strategy for team; track weekly status and volume reports and provide progress updates to management.
- Stays up to date with trends, practices, and competitive landscape in the area of cash management among financial institutions. Shares information with team and recommends appropriate changes to Director, Business Services.
- Supports community initiatives through volunteering and attending events and activities on behalf of the Credit Union.
You have…
- Completed a Bachelors Degree with an emphasis on Business, Commerce, or related field
- A minimum of three years experience in business/commercial banking
- Supervisory experience and the ability to coach and delegate
- Knowledge of cash management products and services
