About us

Earth to Belly Homestead is seeking a Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in our bakery operations, running our stand at the Farmer's Market(every Saturday 5AM start), and delivering (once a week). This position requires sales skills, a valid driver's license, an efficient mindset, prior experience in a bakery setting is preferred but not required.

Earth to Belly Homestead is looking for a Baking Assistant to join our team!

The Baking Assistant will prepare baked goods for our customers. This position will work in the kitchen, including making dough for pasta, making pasta, assisting the head baker, cleaning up and doing dishes. The position requires a flexible schedule that can be done at any time of day. The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the bakery and will include some nights and weekends. You will also be running the market stand and delivering. This position is Tuesday-Saturday

Essential Duties:
The essential duties of the Baking Assistant are as follows:
·Prepare dough for pasta, using pasta machine, checking quality control, and packaging products correctly.
·Assist customers with questions about products and answer questions about products or the company as a whole. · Take orders from customers using tablets or smart phones using an order entry system. · Assist other staff members with similar tasks when needed. · Maintain cleanliness of work area, including tables, counters, floors, walls, doors, equipment, etc. and perform other duties as assigned.
·Perform other duties as assigned.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
