As a Breakfast Baker, You Will
- Prepare a wide variety of breakfast goods
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and specifications to maintain consistency
- Keep work station clean and organized including fridges/freezers, countertops and stove tops
- Ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard
- Ensures that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines.
- Report any and all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products to Management
- Complete other job related duties as assigned
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
Who You Are
- Good knowledge of different types of pastries, and breakfast foods
- Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about Baking with a positive attitude and a desire to learn
What You Bring
- Basic recipe reading and measurement skills
- Previous experience working in a kitchen an asset
- Graduate from Pastry Arts program is an asset
- Food handling certification is mandatory
- Availability to work 1 day per week for low season, and 1-2 days per week in the summer months
