About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Health Information Services, the Admitting Clerk II is responsible for the total communication system for the hospital by providing prompt and courteous responses to all methods of communication, and the reception/registration duties within the North Cumberland facility. This position consists of 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 12 or equivalent plus completion of a recognized office procedure/secretarial program, or 1 year previous clerical/administration experience is required
- Demonstrated skills and experience with Windows and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Completion of an approved Medical Terminology program is required
- Maintains high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated skill in working collaboratively and effectively with others
- Ability and willingness to meet challenges and adapt to changing situations essential
- An equivalent combination of education and training may be considered for this position
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- No Travel required

Compensation and Incentives
$20.09 - $21.91 Hourly
