The Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund as well as various related film initiatives. The Fund supports film and television productions in the province by providing financing to Nova Scotia production companies. The Program Coordinator is responsible to have an in-depth understanding of program objectives and eligibility criteria to administer and complete the application processing and reporting related to the Fund, as well as other assigned programs. Delivering a superior level of customer service to CCTH's clients, the Program Coordinator provides timely follow up, responsiveness to inquiries, and efficient review of applications received to deliver a quick turnaround in processing application times.
This position reports to the Manager, Film Fund, Culture and Heritage Division.
To be successful in this role, you have a post-secondary degree plus three years?۪ related experience. Experience working in a financial or government office environment is considered an asset. An acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
With a strong client focus, you will possess excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills using tact and ensuring confidentiality to establish effective relationships with a variety of internal and external clients, including other levels of government and sector related entities.
You are required to exercise good judgment and initiative, acting independently on inquiries, and making decisions where circumstances align with program standards. You can manage multiple priorities during busier times, with demonstrated skills in organization and prioritization.
Proven proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet management, and e-mail software, for example (Word, Excel, Outlook Project, and PowerPoint) will also help you in this role.
Proficient tracking and assessing client files for compliance.
Able to juggle various tasks at the same time. Superior coordination skills and effective in execution of events and activities.
Collaborative and focused on solutions and positive outcomes; able to work well with staff, co-workers, peers and managers; shares critical information with everyone involved in a project; helps to maintain cooperation and contributes to the high functioning of the work group.

This is a Temporary employment opportunity with anticipated end date of June 24, 2024. The appointment status Temporary is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.
Pay Grade: PR 06 - PR 10
Salary Range: $1,915.37 - $2,746.69 Bi-Weekly
