We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Duties:

- Running errands
- Writing down minutes and meeting summaries
- Sending invoices and collecting receipts
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping
- Prepare presentation materials or documents as required by management
- Separate and distribute both incoming and outgoing mail
- Organizing and controlling the operations of a department by providing administrative services
- Managing and negotiating vendor contracts
- Greeting customers when they enter the building and extending assistance when necessary
- Hiring maintenance staff and working with them to fix issues with company equipment or the building
- Manage payroll
- Create and manage a systematic filing system
- Manage company budgets
- Verify or reconcile bank transactions, complete deposits, or issue cheques
- Update and maintain accounts database
- Preparing and submitting purchase orders and expense reports
- Preparing deposits and delivering them to banks
- Preparing spreadsheets and other related reports
