About Us:

The NBAMRT provides a provincial regulatory and leadership role that ensures public safety and supports membership in the provision of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care using medical radiation technology. This is accomplished through adhering to standards of practice, education and providing evidence informed input into public policy.

In collaboration with our partners in health care delivery, the NBAMRT will be the leading voice for safe, effective and caring practice of medical radiation technology to all New Brunswickers.

The NBAMRT is committed to delivering high quality MRT services through adherence to practice and education standards, and promoting lifelong learning through the implementation of a continuing competency process.

Job description:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will be expected to provide services which conform to but not limited to the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical duties;
  • Prepare correspondences, photocopying, filing, faxing and mailing;
  • Prepare internal/external communication to membership (i.e., mail-outs, e-blasts, and other methods of communication);
  • Processing registration applications as required;
  • Create and modifying documents using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Publisher, etc.;
  • Coordinate meetings and teleconferences;
  • Proofread and edit documents, letters, and other communication as required;
  • Ensure that records are accurate and up-to-date;
  • Coordinate website updates;
  • Maintain organizational archives; and
  • Other administrative task as on a needs basis.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary certificate/diploma program in office administration and/or related field;
  • One (1) year of previous working experience;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and set priorities;
  • Excellent skills writing letters, minutes and reports, and revising texts;
  • Initiative, good judgment and strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint, spreadsheets, databases and readiness to learn computer productivity tools;
  • Strong verbal and writing skills in both English and French;
  • Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities and meet deadlines; and
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment.

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
