Position Overview:
The City of Saint John is currently accepting resumes for a temporary position of Administrative Assistant with the One-Stop Development Shop for up to 2 years. The position is responsible for a variety of administrative duties to provide front line support to customers and support to the various programs and services delivered by the service area, ensuring services are being provided in an efficient manner and processes are meeting service area targets.
Essential Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a college diploma in Office Administration, a university Business Certificate or an equivalent program as well as six months previous experience in a similar role.
The successful applicant will be eligible to work a compressed work week of 4 days (Monday to Thursday) throughout the trial period of the City’s recently adopted Compressed Work Week Trial. This schedule is subject to change.
