Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Technology Operations and Telecommunications, the Regional Manager of Virtual Care and Health Technologies plays a key role in coordinating the operational activities and staff responsible for supporting the delivery of virtual health activities. The incumbent manages staff effectively, implements and promotes virtual health initiatives, supervises the use of equipment during virtual sessions, and supports applications as well as information technology services.
The incumbent supports the organization in the use of information technologies to improve the accessibility and quality of care and maintains the quality of the services provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or health service management or any other combination of experience and training deemed relevant;
- Five years of varied experience in the health field and two years of progressive management experience;
- Experience managing staff, ideally in the health or information technology sector;
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable way;
- Leadership, ability to bring people together and motivate them to participate in achieving a common objective, and ability to manage change;
- Knowledge of the standards and regulations related to health data confidentiality and security;
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and to prioritize tasks based on needs and deadlines;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools;
- Critical thinking and good judgment;
- Ability to collaborate with different partners and suppliers;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
- Adherence to Vitalit̩ Health Network's confidentiality rules.
