New Glasgow Veterinary Clinic is a progressive, community veterinary clinic looking for a Full time veterinary receptionist to join our team.
We are seeking an individual that is self-motivated, people-oriented and fast-learning.
Candidate must have a compassion for animals, excellent communication and organizational skills and express a friendly and compassionate energy while working in a fast paced team setting.
Pay rate will be dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
?? Provide friendly, quality client service.
?? Answering and operate a multiple phone line system.
?? Scheduling appointments and triaging urgent care.
?? Greet clients in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
?? Collect client fees, process payments and run end of day transactions.
?? Gain knowledge of products sold and answer questions concerning products purchased/used.
?? Enter data into practice management software.
?? Perform a variety of clerical duties.
?? Work well with all employees and ensure that your actions support the hospital, doctors and the practice philosophy.
?? Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
?? Ability to communicate and handle high-stress situations while maintaining a professional manner.
Lifting pets or product up to 25kg may be involved.
