Tow Truck Driver

Job Description

Halifax Towing is currently seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have auto towing experience in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and be familiar with the city of Halifax. A clean driver's abstract is required. The compensation for this position will be based on the candidate's level of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to service requests and tow vehicles safely and efficiently

- Operate and maintain tow trucks in compliance with company policies and procedures

- Ensure the safety of vehicles being towed and transported

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 years of towing experience in Halifax, Nova Scotia

- Familiarity with the city of Halifax, including its streets, landmarks, and routes

- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract

- Excellent driving skills and a strong safety record

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Flexibility to work on-call and during weekends and holidays, if required

Compensation:

The pay for this position will be based on the candidate's level of experience. We offer competitive wages and benefits packages.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,000.00-$3,000.00 per week

  • Operating Flatbed and Wrecker Tow Trucks: 1 year (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Hammonds Plains, NS: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
