This Value-add program will provide a wide range of options to suit your needs.Responsibilities Creating mechanical layouts (a complete digital file or combination of files) from original design or “compositions.” Utilizing incomplete files, images, and raw design layouts. Design: Re-designing layouts from existing compositions. Perform basic pre-flight checking and error correction of files. Validate or adjust the layout and imposition of files. Maintain colour matching to client standards or requirements. Retrieve, re-purpose and re-print archived documents. Coordinate the print job intake process via portals and emails, prioritizing and assigning jobs. Input Meridian (billing system) Provide backfill duties for absent coworkers. Maintaining brand integrity for customer. Ensuring the use of proper standards and industry best practices. Ensures all projects (including approvals) are properly documented and stored. Manage job in-take via email or on-line ordering tool. Create job tickets for production, send files to print with appropriate set up. Perform other related activities as determined by management.Qualifications 2+ years of graphic design experience Graphic design/fine arts diploma/degree Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Strong working knowledge of Word, PPT and Excel Understand digital colour environment and requirements, able to prepress files in this environment Working knowledge of multimedia software (i.e. Director) Strong leadership and ability to work with others in a team environment Strong attention to detail and high accuracy Excellent communication skillsSummaryIf you have Graphic Design experience and available to start immediately, apply now at www.randstad.ca.Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
