** POSITION IS IN EAST WINDSOR** Tutor Doctor Windsor/Essex is looking to add a Math tutor in the Windsor area to our team! As a tutor for Tutor Doctor you will be able to: - Set your own schedule - Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals - Help students build academic confidence Our ideal candidate has experience teaching/tutoring students at the primary school level and a passion for education. Tutors that can tutor multiple subjects (math, science, English) are preferred. Tutoring is a great fit for anyone that is looking for flexible part-time working hours, whether you're an Ontario Certified Teacher, a supply teacher, a student, a teacher-in-training, or a recent university graduate. This position will be predominantly for in-home tutoring in the Windsor area. Successful candidates must reside in Amherstburg or be willing to drive to Windsor multiple times per week for 1 hour tutoring sessions. Requirements: Excellent verbal and written skills in English (required) High level of proficiency with Math for grades K to 12 (required) Completion of Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (preferred) Experience leading students with dyslexia, ADHD, and various learning disabilities (preferred) Previous Experience working with children and youth (preferred) Has an ability to confidently teach multiple subjects (preferred) Has a G2 or G driver's license and unrestricted access to a vehicle (preferred) All candidates must successfully pass a Vulnerability Sector screening test.
