Summary

Description

• Drivers will transport refrigerated goods throughout service points within Canada with our fleet of modern equipment
• Primary lanes are Canada only with options for long haul western or ON-East loads
• Serve as an ambassador for the company in a “Professional” manner in every interaction with clients and with the public

Duties

• Ensure that appointment times are met or that delays are immediately communicated to dispatch
• Ensure that reefer operation is strictly monitored to ensure no unnecessary claims
• Protect the integrity of equipment provided – tractors, trailers, cold walls, etc and to immediately report any accidents, incidents or mechanical failures which result in damage or loss of this equipment
• Operate electronic logs and follow all hours of service regulations
• Communicate via satellite required load updates

Qualifications

• Must be located in Canada
• Minimum of two years driving experience required
• Reefer, mountain driving experience and ability to cross the border are all considered assets
• Clean, current criminal check and driver’s abstract must be provided
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English

Benefits

• Mileage rate $0.41 cents per mile
• Picks and drops are in addition to milage rate
• Safety/Utilization bonus, paid quarterly, $0.01 cent per mile
