Job Description A highly integrated tactical system composed of communication, networking and information management sub-systems, LCSS is part of every Canadian Army vehicle, weapon platform and headquarters; comprising hardware, firmware and software. The LCSS provides the Canadian Armed Forces with the highly integrated command and control communications system they need. As a Systems Engineering co-op on the LCSS team, you can expect to: Perform development of system architecture and requirements; Support Metrics development and presentation; Participate in systems and software design and trade studies; Execute written test plans and test procedures; Identify system defects, resolve issues and verify solutions have been correctly implemented; Participate in an Agile team; Documenting the analysis, design and test in accordance with development standards. Qualifications Essential Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, or an applicable scientific discipline. Assets Experience with/in the following: Modelling diagrams and modelling software applications; Customer facing presentations with a large audience; Technical document writing; PowerBI dashboard development or automation (using DAX); Semantic or MediaWiki development. It would be excellent if the candidate had a combination of the following qualities, but we will work with them to grow in these areas: Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and in a collaborative team environment. Enthusiastic contributor, willing to learn new skills and take on ownership of work. Sound communication skills and excellent collaboration skills.
