AS A DEVELOPER/CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

• Shape the future of our product by being involved in the planning process
• See your impact and effect on Dugo?۪s products on a daily basis
• Make UI/UX design decisions
• Develop leadership skills by taking ownership of certain product areas and mentoring others
• Learn, share knowledge with our team, and help introduce or improve daily processes.
• Learn new libraries, systems, and platforms, while building on your expertise in existing ones
• Interact with customers to determine the criticality of bugs and features
• Deploy and maintain production and testing environments
• Participate in bi-weekly agile sprints and daily scrums

WE EXPECT YOU TO:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in a software development focussed discipline
• Electronics and Communication Engineering or additional equivalent degree with focus on energy systems preferred
• have 5+ years of development experience (at least 2 years building software for telecommunications companies)
• handle the entire software development life cycle, end to end
• lead or guide others in development
• self-manage your projects

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS WE?۪RE LOOKING FOR:

• 2+ years experience developing production software in EmberJS
• Experience writing and supporting Classic and Glimmer components
• 2+ years experience developing with D3
• 2+ years experience developing with SCSS
• 2+ years experience building backend services using Node.js
• 2+ years experience developing with Koa.js
• 2+ years developing and working in microservice environments
• 2+ years of test driven development
• 2+ years experience operating and leading within Agile framework, including leading scrums
• 4+ years developing with MongoDB
• 2+ years experience developing in Mongoose
• 2+ years of API testing experience
• 4+ years experience developing production level software in JavaScript
• An understanding of the latest ES7+ language features
• 2+ years experience building and maintaining applications in Kubernetes
• Writing YAML files and applying configuration changes to production environments
• 2+ years writing and supporting Helm charts
• 2+ years experience deploying production level code with AWS and GCP
• 2+ years experience with GKE
• 2+ years experience with DynamoDB
• Comfortable working with Git
