Are you a Software Engineer looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Software EngineerStart: ASAPEstimated length: 6 MonthsLocation: Toronto Hybrid role - twice a weekOvertime maybe requiredAdvantages You will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market. Exposure to new technologies Potential for contract extension and conversionResponsibilities Software Engineer will contribute to the design and integration of a number of tools andtechnologies that are part of our Compliance, Surveillance & Supervision. It will include integrating with the various products within the bank that will be part of CompanySecurities and Company Cowen integration. Engineer as part of the Compliance, Surveillance & Supervision Product Technology team. The team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the Compliance, Surveillance &Supervisory product group. Contribute towards the future strategy and technology direction Perform deployments, administration and management of application components Assist with Automated Regression Testing, System Integration Testing and PerformanceAcceptance Testing Support non-production environment Monitoring and Measurement of Key Performance Indicators Perform capacity planning for both production and non-production environments Product certification, patch management, upgrades and currency Ensure project deliverables are met in timely manner with excellent quality Build system deployment plans and follow the ITIL process Leverage DevOps Tools and Agile Methodology to deliver projects Communication SurveillanceQualifications Implementation experience with communication surveillance channels (Behavox and ThetaLake) – 2 years Cloud experience – MS Azure – 2 years Experience with Messaging Systems and Paradigms (e.g. Solace, TIBCO EMS) – 1 years Scripting languages – Python, Groovy, Powershell – 2 years Stakeholder management experience – 2 years Jira and Confluence – 2 yearsNICE TO HAVE Capital Markets (Familiarity with Asset Class and Products) Devops experience – Jenkins/Maven Automation experience Network Security and Cloud Security Behavox or Theta Lake experience is a big plus (candidates will be preferred)SummaryDo you have this experience?
