As one of Canada's largest marine engineering integrators, we are looking for talented individuals to bring their skills to Fleetway as we lead the way in Canadian naval defence contracts (In Service Support). Our work is project focused on government ship design and support, including warships, ferries, ice-breakers and commercial vessels. We are looking for a qualified Software Developer for our Dartmouth, NS office.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Communicate and collaborate with Business Analysts and end users to write server-side and client-side code using object orientated programming languages, libraries and frameworks that are aligned with the customers expectations to meet product requirements
- Design, create and maintain databases as well as business logic and their integration with applications to meet customer requirements
- Review and asses business need as presented by Business Analysts and establish software solutions and enhancements
- Write and maintain the required documentation, diagrams, wireframes and version control for the development and enhancement of the applications and tools created for the customer
Skill, Capabilities, and Experience:
Education required: College diploma in IT related program
A minimum of 3 years of related IT experience
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance
