Continuing Education HWDSB Site Coordinator Casual Positions Location: Various Continuing Education HWDSB Locations Hours: Day shifts - Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening shifts - Monday-Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reporting to the CE Program Coordinator, ESL and LINC Coordinator and Principal of CE. Continuing Education HWDSB is seeking Site Coordinators for day and evening coverage at our sites including: City Learning Centre (110 King Street West), Hill Park Learning Centre (465 East 16th Street), Parkway Learning Centre (140 Centennial Parkway North) . Site Coordinators support staff and students in our Adult Learning programs. Casual Site Coordinators will be considered for available contact positions which are subject to renewal annually each September. Duties include greeting and assisting visitors, staff and students, answering phones, registration of students, attendance duties, reconciliation of cash, debit and on-line payments, meet health and safety requirements, monitor the physical premises and follow up with property maintenance plus light cleaning. Requirements: Excellent communication and people skills Customer service attitude Ability to interact and serve a diversity of cultures and ages within the student population Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office including MSWORD and MS Excel Good working knowledge of Sharepoint communication software Good working knowledge of shared documents such as OneDrive Comfortable learning to use web-based software and information programs Excellent attention to detail and accuracy High School diploma required, post-secondary education an asset Rate of pay is $20.92/hour.
