Position Description

We are looking for a Senior Security Architecture Consultant to join our team and be part of a consulting engagement at a large, global Banking client on the forefront of cybersecurity and encryption initiatives.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Principle responsibilities include the following:

Architecting and designing security solutions at the client to secure data at rest, in transit and whilst processing. This involves being proactive and learning about the customer estate to be able to provide cost-effective, reliable and secure encryption solutions. Presentations of these solutions will be expected up to ‘C’ level. The ability to translate these requirements through to design and ultimately delivery is also expected.

The role also involves COTS database products, but also custom-made designs based on industry standard Java frameworks. The role will involve team management and also triage of customizations and enhancements.

Professional Interaction/support with/of other vendors is also expected.

This is an exciting role that will provide the member the opportunity to collaborate with external vendors and to address support issues.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Cryptographic Algorithms and implications of
  
  

Quantum technology.

• Extensive knowledge and experience of Databases and Database Encryption.
• Experience of the following Familiarity skillsets: Java, C, C++, Python, SQL Server, Oracle,
  
  

HSMs (Luna and nCipher).

• Relevant experience with design and development (delivering large scale enterprise projects)
  
  

familiarity with range of methodologies.

• Extensive experience with security architecture
• Experience with secure development experience
• Knowledge of GCP and AWS
• Ability to deal with all levels of the organization from L1 Support to ‘C’ Level
• Ability to manage and deliver projects.
• Ability to manage teams locally and offshore
• Flexibility in working across global time zones and remotely with other regions
