The Opportunity
Under the general direction of the Parks & Facilities Supervisor, this entry level position involves supporting the Parks & Facilities Department with the provision of safe facilities and spaces through the ongoing maintenance, construction, and upkeep of Town owned properties.

Under the general direction of the Parks & Facilities Supervisor, this entry level position involves supporting the Parks & Facilities Department with the provision of safe facilities and spaces through the ongoing maintenance, construction, and upkeep of Town owned properties.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining, repairing, and inspecting parks, facilities, trails, fields, and all other municipal properties.
- Participate in building maintenance.
- Planning daily assignments and collaborating with Supervisors as required
- Championing safety and related initiatives.
- Supervising summer students may be required; and
- Other labourer related duties.
- Possess a valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver's license accompanied with a clean driver's abstract.
- Understand the critical customer service role of municipal employees.
- Have a clear safety record.
- Ability to operate small equipment including mowers, skidsteer and carpentry experience considered an asset; and
- Class 3 driver's license an asset.
