Position Summary
This is a Hybrid position located in Halifax N.S.
Reporting to the Coastal Planning Team Lead, Thales requires a Scheduling Coordinator is to assist the Ship Maintenance Lead (SML) in organizing all required routines while developing an integrated schedule for the Work Period. The Scheduling Coordinator manages the preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of Work Period work lists and schedules. They ensure accurate and timely reports are produced as required along with updating real-time dashboards and communicating schedule changes across the enterprise. During the evolution of the Work Period, the Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate with the Technical Material Expeditor and advise if the identified Material is not in Stock. Additional tasks will include but not limited to; Raising Purchases Requisitions on behalf of the SML, collecting and organizing Objective Quality Evidence, and assisting Maintenance Coordinators with Work Pack Management.
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
The Assistant Maintenance Coordinator & Scheduler is responsible to the Coastal Planning Team Lead, and matrixed to the Ship Maintenance Team Lead, for the coordination, preparation, monitoring and maintenance of Waterfront Maintenance packages and schedules. The preparation and maintenance of these maintenance packages and schedules is done in conjunction with the various stakeholders (ie Ship Maintenance Lead, Team Leaders, FMF, and Sub-Contractors) as required. The work packages will be used to identify and validate that all required maintenance has been identified in the appropriate work period. The schedules will be used to identify the program critical paths in conjunction with end customers and other project companies and manage the work periods.

Predominantly working onsite in the Naval Dockyard and onboard Naval Vessels, will also be required to work from the office or from home.
Must meet all federal government requirements to access Canadian government facilities, including naval dockyards.
Special Position Requirements
?? Schedule: 40 hours per week
?? Physical Environment: Predominantly office work but will be required to work in dockyards and on Naval vessels, therefore must meet all federal government requirements to access Canadian government facilities, including Naval Dockyards.
?? Travel: Occasional domestic travel may be required which will include access to government facilities and assets, including naval vessels.
