What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring RBC is providing the required ATM coverage to meet the needs of our clients through regularly assessing coverage needs and actively pursuing coverage changes where required to align with other forms of RBC presence and changing client needs. You will develop strong and healthy relationships with key stakeholders of the RBC ATM network, meeting regularly with Retailer partners and RBC Internal and Regional partners to review performance, coverage, issues and overall health of relationship and network. You will be responsible to ensure our ATM network is accurately reflected across RBC systems, ensuring proper documentation exists to support the legal and financial agreement with our retail partners, ensuring timely action of payments, invoicing, contract updates, renewals and/or terminations.
What will you do?
- Accountable and responsible for managing a portfolio of ATMs (in-branch and offsite) across a set of Regions and a set of retail partners, to ensure a robust ATM network, with coverage aligned to RBC physical presence and client needs
- Accountable and responsible for managing and optimizing ATM coverage, continually assessing and addressing coverage requirements and opportunities; working closely with internal partners to propose ATM capacity recommendations and align on ATM coverage needs and decisions
- Actively identify and secure new ATM sites, working with retailers to assess and propose coverage opportunities and negotiate terms of agreement
- Responsible for assessing incoming opportunities and, where coverage is suitable and required, negotiate terms of agreement, includes supporting RFPs
- Responsible for working with Corporate Real Estate on ATMs located in leased premises for assigned Regions to manage coverage changes or renewals
- Actively work with ATM Implementation Coordinator to communicate details of upcoming activities and ensure smooth implementations
- Actively communicate with retailer, Region and ATM channel team on plan and progress to execute an agreement and ATM activities (install, remove, change).
- Routinely review and manage ATM retailer relationships, regular communication and reporting on performance and issues
- Accountable and responsible for maintaining ATM agreements, contract renewals and terminations, acting as administrator for contract database and reporting tool (ACP – ATM Channel Portal) ; Responsible for managing and reviewing ATM payments and invoices to Retailers
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Fully Bilingual – English and French
- Post Secondary Education
- 3+ years banking experience
- Relationship Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a collaborate team player
Nice to have:
- Experience with ATM business
- Experienced in contract negotiation and legal agreements
- Vendor management experience
- Business case development experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
