Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, On site (No remote work) Job Location: 40 West Wilmot Street, Richmond Hill Hours: 40 hours Competitive salary and health benefits. Required Hours at our Richmond Hill Office: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm We are seeking a full-time Recruiter to join our team at our Richmond Hill office responsible for doing high volume recruiting to ensure the right talent is being hired. Working with a variety of departments, individuals, and deadlines to ensure recruitment needs are being met. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent experience in recruitment, is reliable, organized, results oriented and takes pride in producing meticulous work. You will perform activities in human resources including recruiting and screening candidates as well as onboarding and HR administration. Job Responsibilities Create job postings Publish job ads on various online job boards and career sites and refresh ads weekly. Source qualified candidates for call center – collection agent positions Screen resumes and job applications in a timely manner and contact applicants for initial screening and interviews Attend job fairs Coordinate and schedule on site hiring events (conveyor belt interviews) Manage, maintain and follow-up with candidate pool Provide shortlists of qualified potential hires Contact successful candidates regarding offers of employment. Prepare job offer letters and email to successful candidates. Gather all documentation needed from hired candidates for criminal background checks and credit checks as well as any other clearance that may be needed. Complete reference checks if required and present feedback to senior management Prepare new hire packages and employment agreements. Update management on hiring status (e.g. number of screened candidates) Communicate with hiring managers on the candidate’s fit and key competencies. Greet candidates on their first day of orientation and going through onboarding documents Execute various onboarding tasks, including internal coordination to ensure an organized onboarding process email all relevant departments regarding new hire onboarding and team assignment Email weekly updates of the FTE roster to all senior management, payroll and licencing team. Send out employee change for employee terminations, resignations, leave of absences etc. notification emails to IT, payroll, licencing and senior management Ensure that payroll team receives all onboarding documents, results of background and credit checks and any other information needed for payroll Sign and distribute results of the BC collector test to licencing / accounting team Assist licencing / accounting team with documentation needed for licence applications Prepare letters of employment when requested by employees Use a variety of sourcing methods to continually build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates Contribute to hiring planning/strategy Ensure compliance with relevant legislation throughout the recruitment and hiring process Assist with in a variety of HR tasks You will also be responsible for other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Must Have Skills: College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources 2+ years of progressive recruitment experience in a high-volume/ fast paced environment (agency or corporate) Previous experience with online job boards and resume databases including Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn. Must be reliable, independent, motivated and results-driven Excellent written and verbal communication skills Very good interpersonal, and decision-making skills Thrives in a fast-paced work environment Very organized and works well under pressure Ability to juggle competing deadlines, resilient Prioritize the key tasks and responsibilities of the role and be able to quickly zero in on the critical tasks while still accomplishing the goals within the role. Team player and professional demeanor Goal orientated Open to continuous learning and seeks feedback and advice when faced with new or challenging situations.
