This position is responsible for managing capital projects within Richardson’s operating divisions.Responsibilities:Plan, design, collect /analyze information, develop project scope for capital projects based on corporate standards and best practices; review and provide feedback on detailed process flows/drawings, equipment selection process and site plans; prepare and execute tendersExperience managing automation, process control and electrical projects including new installations and upgrades to existing systemsManage contractors, trades and project staff, work with site staff (operations)Manage budget, track and report on progress, issues and risks for assigned projects; weekly report writing, presentations, participate in the annual budgeting and capital planning processParticipate in negotiation of contracts with third party vendorsQualificationsPE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent in electrical engineering with a minimum 5 years project management experienceSolid technical skills to support facilities, operations, processes and staffStrong communication, interpersonal and relationship skillsStrong leadership skills to collaborate and execute projects effectivelyKnowledge of NEC electrical code and NFPA 70E electrical safety standardsExperience in industrial Electrical Power Distribution medium and low voltage system design and operation would be an asset,Experience with Autocad and ETAP would be an assetExperience in bulk handling industry, manufacturing experience, would be an assetRichardson provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive wages, flexible benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, training and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should click the Apply icon to apply online by January 9, 2023.#ZR
