We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Hydro Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the overall design, planning, construction, and commissioning of hydro generating projects. This position will require knowledge and experience in the design and operation of hydro generating facilities. Requirements Develop and manage project budgets and timelines in collaboration with various stakeholders Coordinate the engineering and design of hydro generating mechanical components Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment associated with hydro generating projects Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Review and approve project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and reports Communicate effectively with customers Ensure that hydro generating projects are completed in a timely, cost-effective, and safe manner Monitor and report on project quality, progress, and performance Preference will be given to those with experience pertaining to hydro electric projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivocal experience 10+ years’ experience in planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of hydro generating projects Able to provide technical leadership Must have Class G driver’s license Excellent communication and computer skills, including MS Project and MS Excel P6 Scheduling experience is an asset Must be willing and able to travel internationally Must be currently living in and employable in Canada (US Candidates pls see US postings).
