Personal Trainer

Job Description
KSA Fitness is looking for a personal trainer to join our team. We are a small, Black female owned fitness studio located in Toronto's Junction neighbourhood. We aim to provide a client-focused experience through 1:1 personal training, semi-private training and small group classes with a strength and conditioning focus. We provide a friendly, welcoming, body positive and fun fitness experience for people of all fitness levels, backgrounds and ages. We are looking for personal trainers who are interested in being part of a building their client portfolio, teach 1-2 group classes on weekday evenings and/or and cover weekday daytime/evening open gym time supervision. This is a freelance position. You will be required to keep track of your hours and clients through a shared Google doc and to invoice on a biweekly basis. Open gym time supervision will be paid at an hourly rate for $25/hour +HST. Small group class compensation is $45 +HST. Personal training compensation is $50-60/hour. We are looking for trainers who have a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals and being part of a community-based fitness studio . The right candidate will be able to inspire others through their positive attitude, individualized/client centred approach and ability to modify and adapt. Skills: Experience teaching beginner to intermediate clients to use a barbell, kettlebells, dumbbells and TRX. Exercise prescription should generally include squat, hinge, push, pull, single leg, carries, core and mobility movements. Experience working with youth/teens is an asset.
