Order Administrator

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers placing orders for building supplies via phone, email, or in person.
  • Accurately process incoming orders, ensuring all details are recorded correctly and promptly in the system.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers, offering suitable alternatives when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to coordinate order fulfillment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of the building supplies inventory, including product specifications and applications.
  • Offer product recommendations and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Prepare quotes for customers based on their specific requirements and follow up on pending quotes.
  • Assist with general administrative duties related to order processing and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using order management software and computer applications.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Knowledge of building supplies, materials, and their applications is beneficial.
