Career Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team based in our Halifax, NS office. The role encompasses support in diverse marketing initiatives, including both traditional and digital channels, to help ensure the effective and efficient execution of our marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote our products or services. Collaborate with team members to create engaging content for various marketing channels, as required. Support the maintenance of brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications. Assist in the tracking and analysis of marketing campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Provide administrative support for the marketing team, managing files, and maintaining records. Assist with Store Merchandising, sales tools, and salon retail signage. Assist with sales analysis to provide recommendations of promotional activities. Manage assigned brand portfolio with the assistance of Marketing Manager. Create, review, and edit all content for Marketing Materials (flyers, signage, other sales tools) Respect and maintain confidentiality of all MBS business and client information. Demonstrate our company culture and values. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications & Core Competencies University or College degree/diploma with a focus in Marketing, Business, or related field. Basic understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic graphic design skills preferred and an eye for aesthetics in presentation materials. Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a willingness to learn. Effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to collaborate with team members and across departments. Attention to detail and a keen interest in marketing and consumer behaviour.
