Maintenance Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Onsite
Job Description
The purpose of this position is to be the Single Point of Contact for all maintenance work in the S&T Zone. This role will disposition all work requests coming into the zone, create work orders, assign a priority with consultation with the customer and determine the target date of the work orders What you will be doing! Review and monitor Work Requests, Work Orders for performing work. Initiate Work Requests on behalf of the customer group to ensure timely implementation and action. Complete walk downs of jobs as required Review work priorities for each job, identify conflicts with resources, equipment and systems and manage a reasonable work backlog. Evaluate the impact of emergent and high priority work and facilitate emergent and high priority work through coordination of work activities and other work groups. Coordinates work with the S&T mission zone, management, facilities and customers to make sure jobs are carried out per schedule and customer expectation. Attend and chair all required meetings (POW, POND, Safety etc.) as required. Accountable for achieving KPI targets for the zone. Accountable for orphaned tasks. Other duties as required. What we are looking for?ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of technical or maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus supervisory experience.Abilities And SkillsMust have the ability to inspire and lead others.Must have extensive knowledge of site systems and equipment.Must have the ability to produce coordination plans and large number of activities in a logicaland sequential fashion.Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work smoothly andeffectively with customers, colleagues and management.Must have demonstrated experience understanding and implementing maintenance workprocedures.Must have demonstrated ability to read and understand specifications and drawings andinterpret complex construction drawings.Must have demonstrated ability to adhere to job budgets/schedules and to meet deadlinesInitiative to resolve problems and expedite resources, work plans or other appropriateactions.Must have good knowledge of software systems such as CMMS, ORACLE and/or otherapplicable programs.Must be self-motivated, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be ableto interact with peers, other departments, and external vendor.Ability to self-manage and perform administrative responsibilities related to various tasks.Job/Industry Specific Knowledge Extensive knowledge of the CMMS system and the understanding of CRL Site Infrastructure work planning process Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.
