Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, hard-working team member to add to our kitchen crew. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Must take direction well, and be willing to contribute in all areas of the establishment.

This position will be a variety of shifts, on various days of the week. Evenings (latest 9pm) and weekends (day/evening) will be required.

The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. They must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. Line Cooks must be prepared to work independently as well as on a team in a dynamic workplace, and follow all safety procedures.

Tasks and responsibilities will range from chopping/prepping to working the line, and everything in between (including dishes, cooking, and cleaning). Being able to take the lead and call orders is essential, and experience will be required. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety standards
- Assist in the planning and development of menus
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 ??? 40 per week
