Integration Specialist

We are looking for our next Integration Specialist to manage integrations between MealSuite applications and vendor/supplier software. Working alongside Senior Product Managers and Product Owners, the Integration Specialist will collect product data and specifications, conduct user acceptance tests, coordinate expectations with stakeholders, align integration requirements with business goals, and support the improvement and development of product features. A day in the life as an Integration Specialist: Define and execute project plans for new integrations, including UAT plans Develop and communicate workflow & setup recommendations to partners/vendors and internal stakeholders Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors and food suppliers; act as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the integration process Analyze specifications documents supplied by partners/vendors and write requirements that align the vendor’s data with the supply chain features within MealSuite’s Procurement Suite Investigate, troubleshoot, document, and escalate reported defects Monitor user suggestions and concerns regarding various interfaces; explore improvement opportunities with Product SMEs and design solutions Draft and maintain internal and external-facing documentation on vendor and nutritional integrations, in collaboration with Product and Customer Success teams Prepare, test, and document connection channels (eg. VPN, Web Services, SFTP, etc.) between food suppliers and MealSuite Provide training to internal departments on new integrations and associated product features Attend scrum ceremonies and collaborate with Squad team members to provide support as needed Collaborate with the Supply Chain Product Owner to plan sprints, prioritize road map items, remove blockers, and draft and review user stories and acceptance criteria around supplier integrations In the first year, you’ll be successful at reaching these milestones: Autonomously lead integration projects ensuring that all required data is being supplied by the partner/vendor Develop a structured communication plan to ensure partners are informed and engaged throughout the integration process and after Ensure roadmap alignment with the Supply Chain Product Owner, stakeholders, and engineering team Become a SME not only in Supply Chain and Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) integrations, but also in MealSuite to understand the impact data and data quality has on the features our customers depend on Independently lead and refine User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, ensuring thorough testing and validation of integrations with partners/vendors Implement best practices to streamline UAT, reducing time-to-market for new integrations Actively contribute innovative ideas to enhance the integration roadmap Collaborate with the Supply Chain Product Owner and engineering team to align roadmap features with the latest industry trends and customer demands If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you: I have strong knowledge of software integrations, specifically with food supply chain and GDSN I gained my knowledge through a BA/BSc in a technical field, 3+ years of direct experience in a similar role, or a combination of both I have experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and transmission protocols I have knowledge and experience with the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) I’m exceptional at project planning / project management I am inherently analytical and can translate business cases for audiences of varying technical ability I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills We know imposter syndrome can be REAL when applying for a new role, but please don't let the confidence gap prevent you from taking a leap and applying for your dream job.
