Health Services Administrator

Job Description

The Health and Safety Administrator role's main purpose is to provide administrative services and technical support for health and safety in our organization. What you will do: Responsible for updating the Health & Safety Manual and any relevant policies. Onboarding of new employees and training of existing employees on safety related items. Oversee internal compliance with the COR safety program for the organization as well as assisting with external audits. Responsible for maintenance and accuracy of safety training records (electronic and paper files). Participate in Joint Work Health and Safety committee meetings and take minutes. Compile relevant health and safety reporting and statistics in third party portals (ISN, Complyworks, Avetta, etc.). Lead or assist with WCB and WorkSafeBC investigations and reporting. What you bring: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Process oriented and systematic in the performance of work. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly is a key requirement. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (word, excel). Experience working with Complyworks, Avetta, and ISN is preferred. Experience working in a Google workspace, with Adobe and SiteDocs is considered an asset.
