A leading home care franchise, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Hairstylist to join our team. As an In-Home Hairstylist, you will provide personalized hair care services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. HOURS: 30 HOURS PER WEEK 

DUTIES:

Client Consultations and Assessments:

• Visit clients’ homes to assess their hair care needs.
• Discuss preferences, health considerations, and any specific requirements.

Hair Services:

• Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
• Adapt techniques for clients with varying abilities (e.g., seniors, individuals with disabilities).
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair

Gentle and Compassionate Approach:

• Show empathy and patience when working with clients who may have physical limitations.
• Ensure a positive and respectful experience during hairstyling sessions.

Safety and Hygiene:

• Follow strict hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Use sanitized tools and products.

Product Recommendations:

• Suggest appropriate hair care products for clients’ specific needs.
• Educate clients on maintaining healthy hair between appointments.

Communication and Documentation:

• Maintain clear records of client preferences, allergies, and any relevant health information.
• Communicate effectively with franchise management and other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Hairstylist: Hold a valid hairstyling license.
• Experience: Prior experience in hairstyling and customer service.
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently in various home environments.
• Compassion: Show understanding and kindness toward clients.
