It is privately held and has achieved high double digit annual growth and profitability since its inception.Job DescriptionReporting to the Retouching Lead, the Freelance Retoucher is responsible for ready-to-wear and still life retouching and the quality control of image assets for e-commerce. As part of our best-in-class Studio visual production team, they will ensure all retouched images are consistent with the SSENSE style guide and production and productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and knowledgeable about fashion and photography.ResponsibilitiesRetouching - 90%Retouch e-commerce images for both ready-to-wear and still life productColor correct imagery using the physical productUtilise optimal retouching approaches to achieve SSENSE art direction and deliver top quality contentApply retouching techniques to match individual image complexityQuality Assurance - 10%Stay up-to-date with SSENSE processes and creative directionQualificationsCollege diploma in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field/experience1 year experience in commercial retouchingAdvanced knowledge of Adobe PhotoshopAdvanced knowledge of photography and lighting, an assetExperience in the fashion industry and/or e-commerce, an assetExperience working within a Mac environmentSolid ability to correctly interpret light, colour, volume, and textureStrong written and verbal communication skills in both English and FrenchSkillsAbility to carry out creative processes in a fast paced production environment Team player with great communication and interpersonal skillsCreative thinker with problem solving abilitiesProven ability to process high volumes of workflowAbility to prioritise, plan and execute
