Executive Housekeeper

Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resortis seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join their team.

Job Description: Lead the Housekeeping Department in a manner that instils high morals within your staff, while providing cleanliness and quality service standards that lead the industry, as required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Housekeeping department, and be proactive in all areas of responsibility.
• To initially follow the training outline, but also to improve and refine it over time
• recording the improvements, recommending changes to your supervisor so the position descriptions can be updated
• To support and motivate others to follow Rodd standards and policies.
• To insure all orders related to your department are received , stored properly and are signed .
• To do Daily Room inspections sharing the information with the respective attendants and with the General Manager.
• To follow the lost and found system.
• To clean rooms when necessary as required by business and staffing levels
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:

Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy and cooperativeness.

• Have high quality of standards for service, customer service focused
• minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role preferably in a hotel in housekeeping or front desk.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling
• Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
• Honesty and Integrity.
• Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends.

This is a seasonal position from April to October.

Salary: $800.00 per week
