WE ARE HIRING!

Ballicatter After School Program Inc. is a not-for-profit fully licensed program. We operate under the Child Capacity Initiative and Operating Grant Program charging $4 a day and $10 a day for PD days, (Professional Development Day).

We are looking for a relief staff who could possibly lead into full time.

You must be a Trainee ( School - age), Level I or ll or willing to be signed up at a local college to be trained as an Early Childhood Educator. The person hired must have all up to date Police and Vunerable Sector checks and First Aid.

Our hours are Monday to Friday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and children’s hours are 2:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

You are guaranteed 20 hours a week. There are extra hours available during PD days from 8 am to 6 pm.

Our location is in Portugal Cove - St. Phillips.

We follow the Early Childhood Educator Wage Grid and we pay above the stated level of pay for your experience.

We follow the school schedule and are closed during any school holiday such as: the Christmas, Easter and summer breaks and Paid days for emergencies and snow days

There is great team work among the Staff and wonderful support from the Board Members.
