Position Overview

As a Driving Range Attendant at Cabot Cape Breton, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for golfers practicing their swings. This position involves managing the driving range area, assisting golfers with equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The Driving Range Attendant will oversee the distribution of range balls, ensure safety protocols are followed, and offer assistance to golfers as needed. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role, contributing to the overall satisfaction and effectiveness of the golf facilities at Cabot Cape Breton.

• Range Maintenance: Focus on maintaining the driving range, ensuring a clean and well-organized environment for golfers.
• Equipment Oversight: Keep an eye on the condition of range balls and equipment, ensuring they are in good shape for optimal golfer experience.
• Customer Service: Prioritize golfer satisfaction by offering excellent service, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Adaptability and Efficiency: Be adaptable to changes in range activity and ensure an efficient workflow in managing ball distribution and overall range operations.

• Experience with driving motor vehicles preferred.
  
  

Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of

• Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
• As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, and crouching while performing other duties.
