Driver Helper

Charlottetown, PEI

We are currently looking for Driver Helpers to assist with deliveries. The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting in professionally loading & offloading materials and securing it to prevent damage to items.

Available Shifts: Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts

Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assists with pre-work delivery departure tasks; prepares vehicle equipment and pre-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Assists in loading materials in accordance with deliveries and safety protocols.
  • Use of handheld devices to track deliveries and retrieve customer information.
  • Provides customer service with clients when confirming delivery time and location with on-time service.
  • Logging info into an online form
  • Driving to and from sites
  • Occasionally interacting with clients

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience in residential & commercial moving techniques Logging info into an online form
  • Ability to use handheld devices for deliveries. Driving to and from sites
  • Lifting up to 25lbs
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Exceptional attention for detail
