Job Description

Courier Driver Duties: - Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery - Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting and safety techniques - Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery - Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery status - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle Experience: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred and retired persons. - Familiarity with local roads and routes - Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with package handling - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and customer service skills Note: Experience operating a forklift is not required for this position.
