If so, this position could be for you!We’re searching for a Copy Supervisor with Medical Writing background and experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space. Strong understanding of FDA, Veeva, PAAB guidelines, IMC Code of Conduct, Food and Drugs.In this role the Copy Supervisor at Publicis Health you will be responsible for generating ideas andcommunications materials in pharmaceutical marketing including sales aids, professional and consumer advertising, patient material, disease education and awareness communications, and other related communications for print and digital media.Manages and mentors creatives and ensures adherence to client's marketing strategies and objectives. Will adapt, create, and edit copy for multiple Canada pharma therapeutic areas for both medical communication and commercial purposes.Day-to-day, the Copy Supervisor will work closely with the team to provide writing and editorial support to new and ongoing projects. Projects are varied; all within the healthcare space.You are familiar with clinical studies and product monographs and experienced in translating clinical data into key brand messagesYou have in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and pharmaceutical industryFamiliar with Actand other relevant regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical marketingenvironmentYou have a growth mindset and excited to join an exciting agency with major momentumResponsibilities• Generate ideas and create concepts for advertising and promotional copy• Develop texts from draft stage through finished product with art partner• Work closely with Creative and Client Service teams to ensure adherence to client's marketing strategies and objectives• Review all materials for consistency in copy guidelines and branding elements• Produce work across all channels that communicates the client's message about the product• Mentor and manage direct reports, provide coaching and guidance• Maintain knowledge of internal creative team's capabilities and freelance talent• Maintain awareness of budget requirements and limits• Develop strong relationships with cross-discipline internal teams• Stay up to date on industry trends and share knowledge with internal teamsQualifications5+ years of medical copywriting experience in an agency settingUniversity or Master’s degree preferably in ScienceStrong understanding of PAAB guidelines, FDA, Veeva, IMC Code of Conduct, Food and DrugsA portfolio that clearly demonstrates a wide range of produced communications materials in pharmaceutical marketing including sales aids, professional and consumer advertising, patient material, disease education and awareness communications, and other related communications for print and digital mediaExceptional writing, proofreading and editing skillsAbility to build client rapport and trustManagerial skillsTeam player - able to collaborate with all levels of internal and external partnersAbility to confidently and independently liaise with clients by email, audio/video-conference, and in personStrong analytical, interpretive, and conceptual skillsProven ability to articulate a point of view as a strategic problem solverProficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint Bilingual - written and spoken French and English - nice to have***Please apply with PortfolioAdditional InformationPublicis Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of our community.
