We have a ton of fun while doing it.Position DetailsTitle: Copy SupervisorReports to: Associate Creative Director or VP, Creative DirectorRole Description And ExpectationsThe Copy Supervisor is responsible for generating ideas, creating concepts for advertising and promotional copy, developing texts from draft stage through finished product with their art partner; working closely with Creative and Client Service teams to ensure adherence to client’s marketing strategies and objectives within specified deadlines. As a people manager the Copy Supervisor manages and mentors creatives that report to them and as needed on projects. In this role, the Copy Supervisor must have an advanced understanding of Klick Health departmental procedures such as routing, print production, protocols, usage rights of stock, images for layout, as well as other internal procedures and solutions practiced by our creative craft.Key Accountabilities:Solid understanding of client’s marketplace and can evaluate work in light of current marketing environment commercial awarenessEnsures the best visualization of the product while staying within budget limits and understands the various production processes. (CGI, Shoot, Stock, etc)Contributes innovative ideas appropriate to the client’s marketing strategy that challenge the status quoAble to defend strengths of existing concepts while remaining open to input and further explorationsParticipates and contributes in brainstorming sessions with stakeholders across meetingsReview all materials for consistency in copy guidelines and all branding elementsWorks with art partner to skillfully produce work across all channels that communicate the client’s message about the product for both the overall campaignSupports layouts with attention-getting techniques and compelling storytelling to support strategyFollows-through and communicates with Creative Shared Services to ensure smooth flow of jobs to meet deadlinesManages and mentors direct reports; coaches, challenges, and provides opportunities for growthFollows up on set expectations, and provides coaching and guidance when standards are not being metDevelops goals with each direct report and conducts performance reviews and regular 1:1s to provide coaching, support career plans, and provide learning opportunitiesMaintains current knowledge of the internal creative team's capabilities & freelance talent; recommends those that are best suited to achieving the desired resultsFosters an environment of diversity and inclusion on the teamMaintains awareness of budget requirements and limits and alerts Client Service in advance when work exceeds budget and obtain appropriate approvals to follow throughDevelops strong relationships with all cross discipline internal teamsAttends client creative presentations as circumstances allowHas a solid client relationship; actively leads interactions with clients and forges bonds with stakeholdersKeeps up to date on industry trends and shares knowledge with internal teamsDemonstrates a deep understanding of product challenges in relation to overall marketComplete understanding of market trends and marketing briefsSkills:Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communications skillsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsExhibits sound judgment and decisive problem solving abilityAbility to work well within a team settingAbility to build client rapport and trustEstablished presentation skills Managerial skillsComputer proficiency; solid knowledge of word text programsEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications, Writing or related discipline preferredExperience:5+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your workWhat makes Klick different?You’ll work on numerous multi-million dollar brands—the size and breadth of the accounts here are incomparable to most agencies.
