We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator | Coordinator to play a vital role in project documentation and coordination ensuring our commitment to excellence in property management.

Join our innovative team and help us reshape the city's landscape through a variety of exciting and transformative projects. Including an architecturally stunning trio of buildings featuring over 400 apartments, street-level retail, and a connecting pedestrian promenade leading to the lively Halifax waterfront; a distinctive residential development in a dynamic community undergoing exhilarating growth in addition to a stylish transformation from iconic downtown office building to urban living at its finest. These are just a glimpse of the exciting projects entering the development phase.

Your responsibilities include:


Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) and Purchase Orders:

  • Thoroughly prepare all CCDC orders and purchase orders to ensure accurate documentation and seamless project execution.

Order Tracking:

  • Employ meticulous tracking methods for all orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and services.

Packing Slip Management:

  • Maintain a well-organized system for packing slips, guaranteeing comprehensive recordkeeping for all project-related deliveries.

Management Support:

  • Assist the management team by efficiently handling paperwork within the system, contributing to a streamlined workflow.

Document Management:

  • Implement effective document management practices, both within our digital system and through meticulous filing, ensuring accessibility and order.

Meeting Minute Excellence:

  • Take the lead in documenting all meeting minutes, capturing essential details and action items for effective communication and accountability.

Safety Report Completion:

  • Execute the completion of all safety reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and diligently follow up with necessary paperwork.


Your qualifications include:

Experience:

  • 2 years related site experience considered an asset.

Organizational Proficiency:

  • Showcase a high level of organizational skills, particularly in preparing CCDC, purchase and tracking orders.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in using office programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other industry software.

Systematic Record-Keeping:

  • Experience in maintaining packing slips and implementing effective document management practices within a system and filing.

Administrative Support:

  • Ability to provide valuable administrative support to the management team, ensuring smooth operations.

Meeting Documentation:

  • Showcase a keen eye for detail in recording comprehensive meeting minutes to facilitate clear communication and accountability.

Safety Compliance:

  • Experience in completing safety reports with accuracy and diligence in following up with required paperwork.
