Job Summary
Reporting to the IT Change and Release Manager, the successful candidate will work within the Customer Support and Security Division as an integrated team member responsible to consult with stakeholders and vendors to analyze, design, and implement new systems and solutions that are ideal for the user experience. This position requires the Computer Systems Analyst I to have the ability to communicate a realistic understanding of new systems and solutions and what it will do for users and managers.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with high regard for patient safety, privacy, security controls, and customer service to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Perform and assist with the analysis, development and testing of configurations and customizations ensuring usage and performance are optimized and aligned with clinical and business requirements
Analyze, design, and implement new systems and solutions such as ITSM system
Design training packages for systems and equipment that are new to Eastern Zone such as ITSM system
Work closely with system vendors, business owners, and other technical and non-technical teams to provide guidance and support for various project implementations
Consult with end users and management to understand problems and requests and develop solutions by testing software and operating system options and compatibilities through changes to existing systems
Develop and maintain support procedures, and update system configuration documents, user documentation, and training guides
Support the development and coordination of risk management processes and provide business analysis and project coordination support
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and managers across all levels of the organization
Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures
Facilitate group meetings
This position will be located in the Eastern Zone.

Requirements

Constantly performs fine finger/precision work while sitting and using a computer mouse.
Constantly requires visual concentration when troubleshooting, designing, debugging, and troubleshooting reports/forms/scripts.
Job Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized university with a Computer Science, Commerce, or Business degree supplemented by a diploma in Information Technology/Informatics, minimum one year (900 hours) duration, or from a recognized Technical College with a minimum three-year Computer Studies Diploma.
Three (3) years' recent experience with programming, systems analysis, and supporting large enterprise systems is required.
Working expertise and knowledge of Eastern Zone's core enterprise systems.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders within the health system.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
The Following Would Be Considered Assets
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting ITSM systems such as IT and Human Resources ticketing solutions
- Certification in health information / informatics management
- Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
