Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the Minister, staff, church committees and congregation.
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain and update church records, including membership information, baptisms, weddings and funerals

-Compile and distribute the Annual Report
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating church events, meetings, and services
- Prepare and distribute regular weekly bulletins, power point slides, special bulletins, newsletters, and other communications as required
- Manage the church calendar and coordinate church rentals
- Respond to incoming and outgoing mail/e-mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, and filing documents
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed

Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred
- Friendly and service-oriented with the ability to interact professionally with church members and visitors

Salary: $20.00-$23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
