Assistant to Comptroller and Chief Information Officer Provides professional administrative support to the executive offices of the Chief Information Officer and Comptroller. D U T I E S The successful candidate will ensure the effective operation of their offices by proactively directing and maintaining the flow of work, triaging situations, coordinating schedules and facilitating written and verbal communication with a broad range of stakeholders. This position conducts select research, participates in and provides administrative support to project teams and provides back up to other administrative professionals. R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S Post-secondary education in business, management, office administration or related discipline; and equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Extensive experience performing a full range of administrative support duties at a senior adminitrative level, including but not limited to; managing executive calendars, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, preparing briefing documents, and maintaining filing systems in an executive or professional office Excellent customer service skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including building trust, respect and appreciation for others' needs and perspectives Experience writing and editing skills with experience compiling, drafting and/or editing documents with varying levels of complexity Advanced organizational skills, including the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize urgencies, and adapt to changing priorities Demonstrated ability to take initiative, be proactive and work independently Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment Extensive experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and MS Project Excellent verbal communication skills Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement A S S E T S Experience leading small scale administrative projects and events Experience in review and management of office budget, identifying and resolving discrepancies C O N D I T I O N S O F E M P L O Y M E N T Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
